Week 5 post

This week in class we were asked to choose 7 people as our personal board of advisers. We could choose anyone living or dead. After a lot of thought, I chose the following people:

My husband Derek would be my chairman. He knows me better than anyone. He knows when I am taking on too much or when something is bothering me. He is my cheer leader He does everything he can to make me happy. He is extremely intelligent and doesn’t make decisions without thoroughly thinking them through. I love and respect him completely.

Jesus is obvious. He is our Savior. He is perfect and knows exactly what I need. He can see the whole picture and can guide me through life in a way that will get me to the Celestial Kingdom. He loves everyone and can give me the support I need.
George Washington was amazing. The founder of our country. He led us to victory in the Revolutionary War. His strength, determination and incredible faith gave him the ability to lead thousands. All who were led by him respected and admired him. He was tactical, knowledgeable and fearless. He is the perfect addition to my personal board of advisers.

Rachel Hollis is the newest sensation in self-help. She wants to change the world, one person at a time. She is full of positivity and energy. She wants every woman to fight for and attain their dream. She knows how to set goals that will result in dreams being achieved. She is inspiring.

Dave Ramsey would be on my board to help me with all my financial decisions. He is extremely smart with money and investing. He teaches people how to avoid debt and save for retirement. His financial advice would help me become debt free.

Harriet Tubman cared more about human rights than anything else in her life. She wanted all people to be free and lead numerous people to freedom. Risking her own life to get them there. She also proved how strong and capable women are. Her strength and determination would be a great addition to my personal board of advisers.

Oprah Winfrey is just amazing. She is a black woman that against all odds became the wealthiest woman in the world. (I think). She is self-made and learned how to overcome adversity and become stronger each time. She is constantly searching for peace and love and equality. Her accomplishments is furthering women’s rights are numerous.

I also came up with an idea for my book this week. I plan to write a book of short stories. My family and I have had a lot of strange and hilarious things happen to us. I want to get it all written down and publish it. My best friend is the funniest person I have ever met and she will help with the book.
