Week 1 Journal

September 21, 2019 First Journal Post for Entrepreneur Class. It feels a little strange to create a journal that will be read by more than just myself. I am taking this class because I am curious about what it takes to start a business. I plan to get a master's degree in school counseling but I would like to create workshops for teens. I want to create a place where they would feel safe to open up to each other and teach each other.  Lessons I learned What I learned this week. It is important to find what I am good at doing. I need to learn what my gifts are and focus on those when creating a business. In "Living Life as an Entrepreneur Hero" Jeff Sanderfer says if you don't know your gift, ask a friend. It is often something you are so good at you don't even realize you are doing it. He also says being an entrepreneur is like living life like an adventure.
